Each work is executed with natural pigments and authentic materials, following Renaissance workshop methods to preserve material truth, chromatic depth, and pictorial presence.

Art Editions are conceived for collectors, institutions, foundations, and museum bookshops, combining philological accuracy, artisanal quality, and sustainable production. Each edition is accompanied by certifications, provenance documents, and ESPI authentication when applicable, ensuring traceability and long-term value.

Edition Lines
Essential — fine editions for cultural and educational purposes, created in Pictography with high-quality finishes and limited runs.
Retouch — editions featuring manual interventions (glazing, highlighting, surface texture) to enhance depth and presence.
Picta — the highest level of artisanal execution, with extensive brushwork and ESPI authentication when applicable; designed for representation contexts and high-level collecting.

Process and Materials
Each edition begins with iconographic study, high-definition surveys, and chromatic calibration on samples. The process involves pictographic transfer to the support, layered painting with natural pigments, manual refinements, and final quality control. Surfaces are adjusted to reflect texture, light, and tone consistent with the original, avoiding any printed appearance.

Certification and Authenticity
Each work includes an edition certificate specifying print run, serial number, technique, support, and date. Limited edition artworks are also registered on a digital platform, with a unique online certificate available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The digital certificate includes the work’s characteristics, the technique used, and the materials employed, ensuring authenticity and traceability over time. The print run is defined directly by Bottega Tifernate, except for specific projects or licensed editions for international distributors. When applicable, ESPI authentication and full technical documentation are provided. Upon request, dry-stamped signatures, invisible markings, and anti-counterfeiting systems can be included.

Packaging and Presentation
Each artwork is presented in an elegant box personalized with the Bottega Tifernate logo embossed in gold, accompanied by a folder containing the artwork description, technical notes, and the printed certificate of authenticity. The presentation is designed to enhance the collector’s experience while reflecting the identity and prestige of the brand.
