‘City View of the World’: a show of art and inclusion
The Teatro Comunale degli Illuminati in Città di Castello is preparing to host, on Thursday 28 November at 9 pm, a unique show of its kind: ‘Città vista mondo’, an event that combines dance, video, acting and painting to celebrate social inclusion and solidarity. Organised by the Città di Castello Host Lions Club with the patronage of the municipality, the show will feature the city's most iconic places.
Bottega Tifernate: art that becomes inclusion
Among the cornerstones of the project is the collaboration with Bottega Tifernate, led by masters Stefano and Francesca Lazzari. This historic workshop, internationally renowned for reproducing works of art according to the ancient technique of cast painting, provided not only evocative settings, but also artistic inspiration for the performances. The settings of the Bottega were an integral part of the creation of the project, representing a bridge between past and future, tradition and innovation: here, art is not just decoration, but a universal language capable of uniting worlds and breaking down barriers.
A show celebrating the city and its places
‘Città vista mondo’ is proposed as an emotional journey through the symbolic places of Città di Castello, many of which are linked to the project. These include the Montesca, the Sala degli Specchi of the Circolo degli Illuminati, the Pinacoteca Comunale, the terrace of the Duomo and, of course, Bottega Tifernate, which provided the setting for some of the most evocative scenes. The performances, accompanied by the music of world-famous composer Francesco Cataldo, will see on stage the students of the Studio Danza Giubilei and the disabled children of the Cooperativa La Rondine, protagonists of the inclusive project ‘Danzo Anch'io’.
