Dear friends, It is with pride that we report the release in cinemas of the film produced by Sky Arte: Raphael – The Prince of Arts.

The Bottega Tifernate created the paintings that you will see in the acted part and in particular:

• The Madonna and Child from the artist's birthplace;
• The Velata today exhibited in the Palatine Gallery of Palazzo Pitti;
• The Transfiguration, an unfinished work by Raphael, located in the Vatican Art Gallery, of enormous dimensions (4×3 m);
• The Mona Lisa which will be visible when the artist visits Florence and meets Leonardo while he is working on the portrait.

All paintings are made to 1:1 size in  Pictography  and hand painted with the same methods used for the originals. In particular, we photographed and studied the originals and subsequently recreated them using natural pigment colours, painting every single detail with a magnifying glass.
