The works of Bottega Tifernate in the docu-film on Raffaello
Città di Castello, thanks to the wizard of author reproductions, Stefano Lazzari, owner of the Bottega Artigiana Tifernate, becomes part of the production of the first documentary film ever made on Raffaello Sanzio. After the success of the first 3 films, Sky 3D has announced the fourth major film production: "Raphael - the Prince of the Arts - in 3D". The film follows the path traced by the three previous projects, with a further innovative contribution that places emphasis on an even more cinematic aspect: it is a combination of artistic digressions, entrusted to famous art historians, refined historical reconstructions, which guarantee a intimate and emotional involvement, and the most advanced film shooting techniques in 3D and UHD.
The craftsman-artist from Tiferno, Stefano Lazzari together with his sister Francesca, his father Romolo and all the young staff of his "workshop" (owner of a registered trademark, "pictography", a unique processing technique that allows the reproduction of any work of art, on different supports, identical to the original) created four works used by the production and the set designer Francesco Frigeri for the filming of the documentary film: “La Velata”, “La Trasfigurazione” by Raphael and the Mona Lisa by Leonardo with the hand-painted Pictography method and the “Madonna with Child” also by Raphael on fresco. “It is an honor for our artisan company, for my family, for our collaborators to be able to represent Città di Castello through Raphael's works and to be included in such a prestigious film production”, declared Stefano Lazzari.
The film will debut in Italian cinemas in Spring 2017 distributed by Nexo Digital, before arriving on Sky TV (Sky 3D, Sky Cinema and Sky Arte) and being distributed in cinemas in 60 countries around the world.
